MUSEUM OF TELEVISION AND RADIO

The $10 admission ($8 for seniors and students) includes access to their library, where you can view any past show in their collection on your private monitor.

MERCHANT'S HOUSE MUSEUM
9 East 4th Street (between Lafayette Street and the Bowery) 212-777-1089 The museum is open 1 to 5 PM Thursday to Monday. There are guided tours only on weekends. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors. It is a Greek Revival townhouse from 1832, preserved intact with its original furniture.

MOUNT VERNON HOTEL MUSEUM AND GARDEN
421 East 61st Street 212-838-6878 The museum is open from 11 AM to 4 PM Tuesday to Sunday. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors. It is a 1799 carriage house that was converted to a country hotel. Federal and Empire Furniture, nine period rooms, garden. The last guided tour starts at 3:15 PM.

NEW AMSTERDAM THEATER
